Q: Can I hire a car at Sydney Domestic Airport?
A: Yes, of course. Avis, Hertz, Thrifty, Redspot, Europcar and Budget have desks located at both the domestic and international terminals at Sydney Airport. Use the tool at the top of the page to compare prices. Remember to always book in advance.
Q: Do you have minivans?
A: Yes, 7 & 8 seater cars can be picked up from most of our providers.
Q: Do you offer one-way rentals?
A: Yes, one way car hire is available from most of our providers. Popular routes include Canberra to Sydney, Sydney to Melbourne, Sydney to Adelaide, to Brisbane. Simply uncheck the Return to the same location box in the search tool and specify your drop-off destination to see availability and rates.
Drivers Under 25
Q:Can I be the driver if I’m 23 years old?
A: The suppliers we list require the driver to be at least 21 years old. There is a surcharge for drivers under 25.
Q:Q: Are there toll roads around Sydney?
A: Yes. There are several toll roads around the city including: Harbour Bridge and Harbour Tunnel (Southbound), Eastern Distributor (Northbound), M5 South-West Motorway, Westlink M7 Motorway, Hills M2 Motorway, Lane Cove Tunnel, Military Road E-Ramp.

Car Hire Sydney Airport
More and more travellers decide to to collect their rental car at the airport. Sydney Airport is located about a 15 kilometre drive south of the CBD and when you rent a car directly outside the terminal you don’t have to worry about organising alternative transport. It’s not only convenient but can often save you money when you add the costs up.
Depots are also located throughout the city, so if you want to pick up your vehicle in Kings Cross, on the North Shore or in Parramatta – we’ve got you covered.
